Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Prestige Business Management will be closed between 24th – 3rd January. We have a few updates to share with you before we sign off.
We understand that it has been a tough year for everyone. We hope that you will be able to enjoy a Christmas break with family and friends. We are grateful for your patience with the team this year, as we have worked hard to maintain our responsiveness, despite unprecedented demand for our time. Happily we are catching up again now.
We welcome Sandra Ficioru to the Prestige team. Sandra joined the team in November. She will be assisting with bookkeeping and payroll. Marjana will be taking on more client led responsibilities. Look out for some changes to our phone lines in the new year which will accommodate these staff updates. We will keep you informed about new landline numbers for us and an additional mobile number for Sandra.

December Top Tips
We hope that you have a wonderful and restful Christmas 2021. Here are our top tips for self care this December.
1. Eat well
Of course, you should enjoy the occasional festive treat, but a healthy and balanced diet is an essential part of self-care all year round. It’s good for your immune system, heart health, and even your mental wellbeing. Outside of Christmas dinner, focus on eating lots of fibre, fresh fruit and veg, and minimising saturated fat and sugar.
2. Enjoy the great outdoors
Getting as much natural light as possible can help maintain a good mood, if you’re able to get out and about for a walk during the day. Fresh air and sunlight can help reduce stress, make you feel more relaxed, and improve your physical health. Even if you can’t venture outdoors as much as you would like, getting a bit of fresh air and daylight in your home can help. Try opening the window a bit and sitting in a well-lit room during daylight hours. Just make sure to keep warm, whichever option you choose.
3. Exercise
There are many physical benefits that come with exercise. Exercise is also excellent for your mental health, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. Taking daily walks or other outside exercise is a good place to start. There are also plenty of online exercise classes and courses that you can follow from the comfort of your own home. However you get active, it can help with your physical and emotional wellbeing.
6. Limit your screen time
Although it’s good to keep informed, try to take regular breaks from your screen and devices. If you are taking holidays, set specific times at which you check the news or your social media accounts. Reducing your screen time when you get the chance has several benefits. It can help to reduce eye strain, prevent headaches, improve your sleep, and boost your focus.
